Our Micro Mix is a precision-blended trace element formula containing six chelated micronutrients — Magnesium Sulphate, Iron DTPA, Manganese EDTA, Zinc EDTA, Boric Acid, and Sodium Molybdate. Every element is present in the exact ratio needed for healthy planted tank growth, chelated for maximum bioavailability.

Critically, this blend contains no copper. Copper is toxic to invertebrates even in very small quantities — many commercial fertilisers contain it, which makes them unsuitable for shrimp tanks. Our Micro Mix is formulated specifically to be safe for shrimp, snails, crabs, and all other invertebrates.

Micronutrient deficiency is most visible in new growth. If young leaves are emerging pale or yellow, or if plant growth has generally slowed despite adequate macros, the micro bottle is usually where the problem lies. In PPS-Pro the micro bottle is kept completely separate from the macro bottle to prevent nutrient interactions that can reduce effectiveness.

One 50g bag makes approximately 10 × 500ml micro bottles. Use 5g per bottle, top up with water, shake well.
